“By it changing my thought process my outlook on life has changed.”
The idea behind the DNA process is to unlock your own mind. Going into the process expecting a specific result limits the possibility of something completely new coming from it, It opened my eyes to not being afraid of different routes to achieve the same end. It also made me realise that time management is one of the huge factors in success. As a process it was very enjoyable and professional and it changed the way that I look at opportunities and challenges that I come across by tackling them in a way that previously I would never have thought. By it changing my thought process my outlook on life has changed.
“These obstacles are now out of my way and I have made more progress in the past month, than the previous 7 months combined. Truly amazing are the benefits that I am seeing out of Business DNA. It is the best decision that I have made for myself and the future of my company.”
My experience with the Business DNA experience was a very good one. I went in with an expectation for the DNA and Coaching to be one of Business strategies and advice. The questions were very probing and diverse, but the reasoning for some of them were only clear in the analysis with Carl & Paul.
This was truly insightful, collaborative discussion that had so many reveals for me. The understanding of WHAT you are really looking to achieve and WHY it is important to you cut right to my soul.
These questions really tied all of the answers together at the end and with this deeper understanding of my WHAT & my WHY, allowed me to see that my initial HOW I was going to accomplish this was small in my thinking. I had not tied all of my reasons for what I was planning into the real, central core of WHY I wanted to start this business. This revealing of my WHY to myself, through the Business acumen and Emotional Quotient that Carl & Paul excel at, really moved me forward towards understanding the fulfilment that I was looking to achieve. With this full understanding, I am now able to better develop my business as I am focusing on the WHY I want it, and not distracted on the HOW I am going to do it. These obstacles are now out of my way and I have made more progress in the past month, than the previous 7 months combined. Truly amazing are the benefits that I am seeing out of Business DNA. It is the best decision that I have made for myself and the future of my company.

“Even just writing this review has made me think a bit more about my business!”
The questions I had to complete were searching and certainly made me think a lot. I am typically analytical anyway, so always into this type of approach. Just answering the questions themselves was good, but then when I had the joint Zoom call with Carl and Paul it was really enlightening. I scribbled endless notes.
They also sent me a recording of the call, so I rewatched this and understood more, subtle things. The follow up call was very good too, I very much liked the humour that the three of us shared. This may be because I am generally light hearted and they flex their delivery to suit the recipient. I am sure for someone who is 100% professional and utterly focused on their business, Carl and Paul will keep in that manner.
I certainly learnt a lot about myself, bringing it from the subconscious to the conscious mind, it made me focus on my business, helped me to structure my working week, which I was more used to in my previous career.
Even just writing this review has made me think a bit more about my business! I am now inclined to go back and watch the Zoom recording again.

“It’s something that’s difficult to explain but once you’ve done it, the process is quite remarkable.”
On first looking through THE DNA Profile, it it did seem quite daunting as I’m not someone who finds it easy to articulate the kind of self analysis that it calls for. Having stared at it for a while I then summed up the courage to work through the profile. For someone like me who is naturally reserved in talking about oneself it seemed somewhat unnatural to go through the process. However, as I got more and more into the process I found it easier as you kind of peeled away the layers of the proverbial onion. I’m not sure what I expected the final product to look like but it was interesting to see some common themes coming through – things that defined who you were, your values and a reflection of what’s truly important to you as an individual. Whilst the results weren’t surprising per se, the fact that they came through at various stages of ones life and actions did then make me stand back and think “Ah…. That’s who I am, or that’s what defines me”. It’s something that’s difficult to explain but once you’ve done it, the process is quite remarkable. I did find that a few weeks into the process it was useful to revisit the DNA and to update it as you star to see things in a different light and also thought of more things that were relevant to add. I found the time spent with Carl and Paul very useful and stimulating and we then agreed to work over a longer period of time. This has been really useful as the regular contact helps keep me focused on the work we’re doing and the coaching has been very useful. Our conversations are almost always three way ones and this helps as you get different perspectives as each brings a different set of skills to the table.
Despite ours being a “long distance relationship” (we are 6,000 miles and 5 ½ hours apart) Carl and Paul have been most accommodating of timings in terms of scheduling our regular calls and connects. It’s been a great journey and I look forward to an ongoing journey.
“It is also very apparent that they care about their clients.”
The great thing about the DNA profile is that it combines the skills of Carl, who is very methodical, very good at building habits, great attention to detail, and Paul who is a little more intuitive and can really get to the crux of what is going on with you and your business quite quickly. It is very apparent that they work well together. They combine their skills and are able to identify issues and what is going on and then offer solutions which are practical and relevant to you. It is also very apparent that they care about their clients. It is definitely worth while giving the DNA Profile a go – you will not be disappointed.
“I would sincerely recommend any parent/child to at least spend the time in talking to Carl and Paul. They are very different personalities but compliment each other well. My son felt that they were genuinely interested in him and what is best for him, rather than trying to sell him something that he didn’t want or need.”
As a parent I was frustrated with the lack of direction provided to students, regarding their future options on leaving full time education. Whilst brief career opportunities were discussed, what was actually needed was a more in depth interview to fully understand the child and try to establish what “makes them tick” and what they would actually like to do for the rest of their working lives – rather than being stuck in a job that they dislike, to simply pay the bills. Another frustration for me was that entrepreneurism was never even discussed, in fact looking back at past parent’s evenings only career opportunities were mentioned (and then only very briefly), not have you thought about setting up a business yourself?
I believe, “Undercover Entrepreneur” is filling the void. When I initially contacted Carl and Paul the whole concept was explained in detail and followed up with emails and links further explaining details of the process. What I particularly liked was that they offered to spend an hour – without cost – to ascertain if they felt the process was right for my child.
Following the call I spoke to my son to ascertain his view. I can only describe it as a “lightbulb moment”; being a teenager he very rarely discusses such matters with his parents but on this occasion I couldn’t shut him up – he was very positive and enjoyed the discussion to such an extent he actually spent an hour on the call, which was initially scheduled for half an hour. Hopefully he will get as much out of the process going forward as the initial call suggests.
